Justin received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada. Shortly after gaining his degree he moved to Scotland and attended the Royal School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh.
After qualifying, Justin spent almost 10 years working in the UK, first in a small animal practice in Henley on Thames, where he developed a keen interest in orthopedic surgery. He then completed a three year orthopedic residency in Scotland’s busiest orthopedic referral centre, where he was awarded a Certificate in Surgery. Justin’s orthopedic interests are in conditions affecting the stifle and in fracture repair.
In 2013, Justin moved back to Canada with his wife, two children and their dog from Scotland named Skye.
Justin has dual Canadian and British citizenship and is registered with The College of Veterinarians of Ontario as well as the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the United Kingdom.
