Nika Alimi

For Nika , becoming a veterinarian was a way to combine her love for dogs with her desire to make a real difference in people’s lives. After earning her DVM from the University of Tehran in 2018, Nika began a residency in clinical pathology, where she developed a passion for diagnostics.

Originally from Iran, Nika moved to Collingwood in 2024 with her husband, also a veterinarian. While her 6-year-old cocker spaniel, Mocha, lives with her parents, Nika hopes to have a few dogs of her own in the future.

Outside of work, Nika enjoys reading, solving puzzles, trying new recipes, and watching movies. She’s excited to explore Collingwood and continue her work caring for both animals and the people who love them.
